| Spiritual Guidance To Enhance Your Ministry
I specialize in working with church leaders —pastors, chaplains, teachers, conference ministers, church executives, presidents/vice-presidents, and CEOs. Many church leaders have discovered how important it can be to receive spiritual guidance as one way of staying grounded in God. Spiritual direction is a confidential relationship where you receive help to recognize the mission of God in you and around you, receive God’s loving initiatives, and respond to God in life-giving ways. Since God is everywhere, these loving initiatives are always coming your way. But first you have to recognize them before you can respond to them. Spiritual direction is a way to cooperate with God’s mission. The word “direction” does not mean that I give you directions or orders. It means that you and I join together in looking for the direction (or mission) that God is birthing in you and around you. You can bring to spiritual direction your inner life of prayer, your sense of mission and service, discernment for major decisions, joys and laments, inspirations and glimmers of possibility. You can also meet me no matter where you live. All you need are a computer, a high-speed internet connection, a webcam, and possibly a headset.
